The home of the improvisation theatre KITAS KAMPAS will once again be filled with enchanting and familiar jazz songs! After all, improvisation is inseparable from jazz, and jazz is inseparable from improvisation!
On the evening of JAZZ, Inga Šepetkaitė - a professional actress and improviser of KITAS KAMPAS theatre will be delighting everybody with her talent. Inga, formerly the lead vocalist and lyricist of the band Delasferos, can now often be heard singing in performances and musical collaborations with other artists and composers.
With Inga, we will also see the talented pianist Dominykas Kazimieras Krulikovskis, who actively performs with a wide range of ensembles and artists, including SHOWER, Dominykas Vaitiekūnas, Castor Stetson, Vilnius JJAZZ ensemble and the choir Artyn. You can also see Kazimieras at the KITAS KAMPAS theatre on several occasions
We will not only hear legendary jazz artists such as Nina Simone, Etta James and Ben S. Kingo, but also other well-known jazz pieces that have been arranged and performed by many jazz musicians such as Julie London and Ella Fitzgerald, among others.
The evening will feature not only vocal interpretations of the works, but also keyboard improvisations, and all the jazz pieces will be brought together by some of the most beautiful love letters, quotes and reflections on love by artists in history.
