The British rock band Asking Alexandria will perform in Vilnius for the first time
June 28 rock quintet "Asking Alexandria" will perform at the Vilnius Arts Factory "Loftas". This will be their first concert in the Baltic countries, included in the group's tour for the presentation of the new album "See What's on the Inside". The band's current lead guitarist and backing vocalist, Ben Bruce, started making music for Asking Alexandria back in 2006. and over time they managed to create a unique and original world of rock music. The group's debut album "Stand Up and Scream" appeared in 2009, and seven more works have been added to Asking Alexandria's discography over the course of thirteen years. The band's music is usually described as metalcore, hard rock, heavy metal, post-hardcore and screamo.
Today, the band performs in its original line-up of Ben Bruce (guitar, backing vocals), Danny Worsnop (vocals), James Cassells (drums), Cameron Liddell (guitar) and Sam Bettley (bass), in their own words: "the quintet has achieved clarity and refined the purpose of his creative activity".
The group took inspiration for their last album "See What's on the Inside" from their previous musical heroes - "Led Zeppelin", "Metallica", "AC/DC", "Queen". Guitarist Ben Bruce has said that they don't like making music that sounds the same on every album, so the band's musical style has changed over time.
Over 10 years of touring and recording, Asking Alexandria has achieved unprecedented success with two gold singles (Final Episode (Let's Change The Channel) and Not The American Average) and three Billboard To 10 albums. These include Reckless & Relentless (2011), From Death to Destiny (2013) and The Black (2016). In addition to their five-continent touring tour, Asking Alexandria have performed alongside bands such as Guns N' Roses, Green Day, Avenged Sevenfold, Alice In Chains, Slipknot and many more. others.
