The chamber orchestra "CANTUS" was formed in the fall of 2006. Its artistic director and conductor is Prof. Ričardas Sviackevičius. The ensemble actively participates in concert activities, international projects, has performed many times in Poland, Latvia, Belarus, and Lithuania's prestigious halls - the Palace of the Lords, the Vilnius Town Hall, Saint Catherine's Church, Trakai Vokė Manor Homestead, Saint John's Church, Philharmonic, Chodkevičius Palace, performed at the President's Palace, etc. Participates in such important events as the Grand Parade of Musicians, the Alma Mater Musical festival, the ensemble festival "Džiaukimes drauge". Together with an opera soloist Julija Stupnianek-Kalėdiene prepared the program "Viva Vivaldi", which she presented in the Vilnius City Hall and the Vilnius Art Gallery.
