"Cemetery club" of Palanga's "Grubioj" theater is a play about women, about sensitive and strong friendship and the eternal search for the meaning of life and death. A few years ago, three middle-aged women buried their husbands one after the other. In a painful confrontation with death, they are united by a common sense of loss and loneliness. They often drink tea together and go to the cemetery every month to visit their ex-husbands. This peculiar tradition for one of the women is a symbol of the meaning of life, respect and happiness. Love for a man has become the basis of everything, and to refuse it would be tantamount to contempt and betrayal of all the most sacred feelings. For others, a visit to the cemetery is just a kind of formality. Unlike her friend, she wants to continue enjoying life, so she takes excessive care of her appearance and is actively looking for a new man. And the third is tormented by great doubts. Her heart is big enough to hold a dead husband and maybe a new love. In the same cemetery, she meets a widower who has come to visit his wife's grave. It seems that loneliness got to both of them. Acquaintance gradually develops into a beautiful novel. But how will the girlfriends react to this?
This whole story is "drawn" into the vintage style, which, like a high-quality long-aged wine, is reflected in the characters' feelings, behavior, costumes, interior details, and the time of the play's creation.
