Is there any music the cello can't play? There is no such thing! And how the cello goes crazy playing Scottish folklore! You will have the opportunity to see this at the night concert of the festival, which will not at all remind you of the peace of the night, but will allow you to get involved in incendiary melodies, rhythms and improvisations on the themes of Scottish folk music. Alasdair Fraser (fiddle), known as the "Michael Jordan of the Scottish fiddle", who recorded the soundtracks of the most famous films (The Last of the Mohicans, Titanic, etc.) and is inducted into the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame, and Natalie Haas (cello), considered one of the most sought-after cellists in traditional music. With their program, the performers aim to return the cello to its historically rightful place in the rhythmic dance music of Scotland, where it shone for hundreds of years before it was "transferred" to the orchestra. The Scots recording of Fire & Grace has won the duo the Scots Trad Music Album of the Year Award, the Scottish equivalent of the Grammys.
