PlaCello, a quartet of talented and accomplished cellists from Romania, proves that after cello revelry, jazz and dance, cellos can spread classical beauty in a similar mood. The ensemble gathered by Răzvan Suma'a prepared a program of overtures from baroque and classical operas, sparkling like champagne, bursting with energy and other impressive works. As the leader of the quartet says, "everything here revolves around a new beginning." Since operas begin with overtures, we hope that this will symbolize the return of the world to the way it was before.” Isn't this a great way to prepare for the re-energized rhythm of life? For the next week of new jobs?
