The Estonian guest orchestra "Glasperlenspiel Sinfonietta" not only skillfully performs classical masterpieces, but also actively participates in innovative projects and initiates new works. The orchestra's repertoire spans centuries: old music intertwines with new: from Bach to Piazzolla, from Pärt to Vähi. In recent years, the Glasperlenspiel Sinfonietta has performed in Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Finland, Germany, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay; participated in various international music festivals, played on many famous European stages, such as the Brussels "Palais des Beaux-Arts", the Amsterdam "Concertgebouw", the Cologne Philharmonic Hall and others.
Born in Tallinn, Elina Nechayeva graduated from the classical vocal class at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater, sings in operas, operettas, musicals, and tours around the world. The soloist sang at the New Year's concert in the Shanghai Grand Theater, conducted by Neeme Järvi, and he calls her a rising star. E. Nechayeva represented Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon and won eighth place, but many listeners called Elina the "winner of hearts" because her voice deeply touched the most delicate strings of the human soul.
Estonian maestro Andres Kaljuste, who graduated in orchestral conducting at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, is a guest conductor of the Estonian National Opera, Helsinki Philharmonic, Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, Tampere, Odense, Aalborg, Aarhus Symphony, Lahti Sinfonia orchestras. Before that, he completed violin and viola studies and gained extensive experience playing in such orchestras as the Berlin Radio Symphony, the Helsinki Philharmonic, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London. Last year, A. Kaljuste was appointed director of classical studies at the Tallinn School of Music and Ballet.
The program of the Glasperlenspiel Sinfonietta concert includes Estonian and Austrian music: the works of peers Arvo Pärt and Jaan Rääts and Peeters Vähi, a representative of the younger generation, and alongside the music of the 20th and 21st centuries, the immortal classic - 1774. Haydn's Symphony No. 60 in C major and Mozart's motet Exsultate jubilate.
