"Only for Adults" is a tragicomic theatrical-creative study directed by Justos Tertelis, looking for an answer to the question - how and when do we become adults? And... what does it even mean to be an adult today? Is it enough to simply cross the established biological age limit (18 years) and are you ready to take on all the responsibilities that come with entering the "adult world" - the right to vote, participate in the life of the state, the right to drive, get drunk and be responsible for your actions?
An amazing team of talented actors, well known to the theater audience, skillfully juggling the themes presented in the play, with the help of recognizable and evocative characters, turn the mirror to ourselves. The variety of tragicomic situations in which the characters of the play fall will not let you get bored and will invite you to get involved in the process of finding an answer - what kind of person can grow up in today's society? And who is responsible for this? Can anyone be responsible for this at all?
"Only for Adults" is the latest play by Justus Tertelis, continuing the tradition of the theater laboratory "Atviras ratas" to work with Lithuanian dramaturgy and speak in an open theatrical language. The audience of this theater is extremely familiar with the feature of "Open Circle" - through stage purity and simplicity, the roles of the actors and the recognizability of everyday life on the stage, to create a dialogue with the audience inviting them to rethink, get involved and together experience topics that are relevant to this day, but not spoken in society.
We invite you to recognize yourself while enjoying the theater!
