Every year, we invite children to start their winter holidays at the theatre. This time we are presenting the premiere performance "Twelve from the Postal Carriage" and invite you to meet Santa Claus!
The latest performance of Klaipėda Youth Theatre for children is based on the classic fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, which is one of the most beautiful winter fairy tales in the world.
On New Year's Eve, a postal carriage stops at the city gates, and on board there are even twelve mysterious passengers. They are all unlike each other, bright and special, and more importantly, they bring twelve months of gifts for the year ahead.
What names and faces will the dozen travellers present themselves with? What entertainment and pranks will they pull out of their travel bags and pockets? What kind of New Year will we see this year and, finally, why should we look forward to a new beginning every year?
