This year's Midsummer Vilnius Festival will feature a revival of the one-off performances specially created for the festival.
On 22 July, the FINK Orchestra returns to the stage - a melancholic friendship that brings together British composer Finn Greenall, composer Jievaras Jasinski and Modestas Pitrėnas and the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra (LKO) conducted by him.
Fink's music with the symphony orchestra takes on an even greater depth, subtly drawing the listener into a space of dreams, inclination and self-reflection.
Lithuania's Finn Greenall has many fans in the Baltic States. The performances of the artist, who has released more than 10 albums, as well as his studio work, are distinguished by depth and quality of performance.
The hypnotic tracks of Fink bring the magic of blues, rock and folk to the electronic music. Even melancholy pulsates in a way that transforms sadness into dance and loss into liberation and euphoria.
Growing up in 1980s Bristol, Fin Greenall absorbed the city's musical pulse, the energy of rave culture and the sounds of pirate radio stations. His journey began on the dancefloor with Ninja Tune, but later evolved into a more intimate, acoustic output.
While Biscuits for Breakfast marked this creative shift, Perfect Darkness established Fink as an international artist whose unique style is distinguished by its deep emotional content and atmospherics.
Fin Greenall's songs have been featured in films and TV series such as 12 Years a Slave, True Detective, Better Call Saul, The Walking Dead, Suits and Black Mirror. His work can also be heard in Collateral Beauty, Selma and other film projects.
2024 saw the release of Fink's new album Beauty in Your Wake, recorded in a Cornish church with Grammy award-winning producer Sam Okell. This work marks the beginning of a new tour, a journey that seems to have no end.
