We will continue our Christmas celebrations on 26 December with the enchanting sound of Dixieland and good cheer.

Let's celebrate the second day of Christmas together by gathering at the Chamber Theatre in candlelight and enjoying the first-class sounds of the much-loved jazz of the Dixieland and a collective of 8 performers.

About the band:
"Dream Team" is a unique Dixieland band formed to record the soundtrack for the Latvian film Dream Team 1935. The film tells the inspiring story of the Latvian basketball team that won the first European Basketball Championship in 1935. The recording process and its outcome were so successful that the musicians decided to continue working together.

The band's work goes beyond traditional Dixieland music. They explore new creative possibilities by arranging music in different styles, using the instruments of a traditional Dixieland band. One of their most popular programmes, A Journey to Dixieland, brings out the beauty of modern pop music (M. Jackson, A-Ha, Robbie Williams, etc.) in Dixieland arrangements. The next programme, The Bustling 1920s in Latvia, reveals the origins of Latvian jazz music.

He is one of the most cheerful and adventurous vocalists in Latvia! He is equally adept at jazz, Latin and French melodies. Laimis speaks and sings fluently in 7 languages and is a frequent guest on various TV projects and theatre events. He is also an accomplished player of various musical instruments, and his creativity and charisma captivate every listener.

This is an evening for those who want to prolong the Christmas spirit, full of warmth, music and festive emotions.
