For the eighth time, the Kaunas Wind Orchestra "Ąžuolynas" will invite you to the concert "Music WANTS", which this year will bring together all three major Lithuanian cities Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda. The idea of the concert is to feature works performed by young and professional soloists, accompanied by a brass band. Thirteen of the best young soloists from the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts, Juozas Naujalis Music School in Kaunas and Eduards Balsis Art Gymnasium in Klaipėda will perform on xylophone, violin, viola, euphonium, piano, flute and trumpet with the Ąžuolynas Orchestra. The soloists will be accompanied on stage by maestro Jonas Janulevičius, who will conduct the Ąžuolynas Orchestra. The concert programme will include popular classical works and colourful compositions by Lithuanian composers. The concert programme pays special attention to the composer M. K. Čiurlionis, whose 150th anniversary will be celebrated throughout the year. Future stars of the stage, a bow to Čiurlionis and fun and melodious pieces invite you to enjoy and rediscover the music you have heard and the new music you will hear, which will sound different in this concert, with the playful and rich sound of the brass band. "music is WONDERFUL" is a concert for all those who want to experience a true musical feast.
