Join a fun paddling adventure on the Brasla River (Latvia)

The Brasla is a flowing and picturesque river, famous for its clear water and spectacular views of sandstone outcrops. The route features easy rapids, meandering flow and rocky shoals, making it an excellent choice for beginners and experienced paddlers alike.  

TIME. Please arrive at 11.00. 

We will start with a briefing, during which you will hear all the information you need: how to get on the paddleboard, how to swim correctly, how to handle a fall, which route to take and other important rules of conduct on the water. The briefing takes about 15 minutes, then you will swim. The route is about 17 km long. For the whole expedition you should plan up to 5 hours (with preparation, instructions, packing after the hike).  We will be accompanied by a local guide. 

LOCATION. Meet at the parking lot of the Brasla River, coordinates: 54.190364, 24.763352, link to the map https://maps.app.goo.gl/uUFhPX1xVhBYhW8a8. If strong winds are forecast on the day of the event, we may change the meeting point slightly to avoid headwinds on the river. However, the chances of such strong winds are low. 

COST. The cost of the Brasla River Tour is 50 Eur (price includes: instruction, all necessary equipment, transportation). 

TICKETS. The ticket you purchase is your registration for the tour. No additional registration is required.  

In the event of extremely adverse weather conditions (storm, thunderstorm or other dangerous natural phenomenon) which may endanger the participants, the event may not take place at the scheduled time and may be rescheduled for another date by mutual agreement. 

PREPARATION. Wear loose, sporty clothing that does not interfere with getting into the water (pants can be rolled up:) We recommend having dry clothes in the car in case you accidentally fall (the chances of falling are very small, but it is better to be prepared). 

Participants. It is forbidden to participate under the influence of alcohol or other substances.

The shuttle service is available at an additional cost. If you wish to use this service, please let us know 1-2 weeks before the event. 

If the event takes place but the client does not turn up and has not contacted the administration at the contact details on the ticket in advance (one hour prior to the start of the event), no refund will be given. The ticket purchased is valid only for the tour for which the date and time are indicated on the ticket. Refunds will only be issued if the tour is cancelled. If you wish to exchange your tickets for another tour, an exchange fee of EUR 5 applies. You can exchange your tickets for another service up to 48 hours before the start of the tour.
