Arsen Petrosian is the most famous Armenian duduk performer and popularizer of his generation. A follower of well-known duduk masters Djivan Gasparian and his mentor Gevorg Dabaghyan, Petrosyan found his own musical path by collaborating with Steve Hackett (Genesis), UAE composer Ihab Darwish and Omar Bashir. With the ensembles he founded, A.G.A Trio and Arsen Petrosyan Quartet, he performed throughout Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and the Caucasus. Petrosyan visited these countries as well as the USA as a solo artist. in 2016 He received a master's degree in music (Duduk specialty) from the Yerevan Conservatory of Music. While actively performing, the performer also carries out publishing activities, conducts Armenian duduk master classes and lectures at the World Music Institute (WMI) in New York and Apollo Chamber Players (Houston, Texas).
