Piano & A Microphone: "White Crows"
The beloved format and beautiful series of concerts at the Lukiški Prison Church, inspired by Prince's legendary album "Piano & A Microphone 1983", continues! This is the third season of this intimate concert series.
Where the music is played determines the enjoyment. St. Mikalojus Stebukladaris Church is already a proven place of prison conversion for music. In the very center of the church there will be only two instruments - a piano and a microphone. Some Lithuanian music creators will be in such a role for the first and maybe even the last time in their career. They will step out of their comfort zone and some of them will ask the pianists for help.
This series of intimate concerts is continued by the very beautiful duet "Baltos Varnos". It will be the first such concert in history when there will be even two beautiful voices in this format. The songs of "Balta Varna" are usually played surrounded by guitar and other string instruments, so this format will be a new ocean for them, in which both the sisters and the listeners will bathe in a very fun and refreshing way. Sisters Teresė and Milda Andrijauskaitės will share not only old songs, but also their soon-to-be-released new single "KOI", which will represent a new stage. The songs will be performed on the piano by St. Pianist Tomas Dičiūnas, who knows the atmosphere of Mikalojus Stebukladaris Church well.
The sisters promise that there will be excitement and improvisation, there will be songs and warm conversations. It will be sensitive, cozy and very close.
St. There are only 300 seats in the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
