flow. An evening of French lightness and elegance will lead concertgoers through snowy Parisian streets, smelling of cinnamon and roasted chestnuts...
The performers of the concert are talented and energetic musicians of the young generation, whose creative biographies include studies and concert activities in Lithuania and abroad, impressive wins in international competitions and bright professional achievements.
Gabrielė Sutkutė actively performs not only as a soloist, but also with various chamber ensembles and orchestras. The pianist has won nineteen international competitions, where she was also awarded special prizes. At this year's Birmingham International Piano Competition, Gabriele won the 2nd place and the audience
sympathy prize. For her achievements in international competitions, she was awarded six times with letters of thanks from the President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė and the President Gitanas Nausėda. The pianist is also a "Talent Unlimited" artist and Hattori Foundation scholarship holder. This year, she won the prestigious Mills William Junior Fellowship 2022/23 and was awarded the Jacob Barnes Prize.
Augustas Gocentas - Lithuanian cellist, born in a family of musicians in Vilnius. in 2019 the cellist obtained a bachelor's degree at the Sibelius Academy, 2019/2020. completed an exchange program at the Vienna Academy of Music and Arts in Austria. Augustas is a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), played with the chamber orchestra "Kremerata Baltica", the Baltic Sea Philharmonic Orchestra and the joint symphony orchestra of the Sibelius and Juilliard schools. Also in 2022 won the Apprenticeship program at the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra. Actively participates in international competitions in Lithuania and abroad. Currently, A. Gocentas plays the Blanchard cello given to him by the Sibelius Academy.
