For the first time in Lithuania, the North American music star, alternative music performer - grandson will perform. On October 18, the concert of grandson's world tour "I Love You, I'm Trying Tour" will take place in Vilnius club "Kablys + Kultūra", where the musician will present the latest, soon-to-be-released album.
grandson is the stage name of Canadian/American artist Jordan Benjamin. Alternative music artist grandson combines rock, hip-hop and electronic music styles in his work, and his songs openly talk about efforts to take life into our own hands, social problems of our generation, mental health or the fight against addictions.
Grandson will present his second album "I Love You, I'm Trying" on the new tour, which will be officially released on May 5. For this album, the musician selected 12 of the best tracks from more than 40 compositions created over several years, and the new record, according to grandson, will be the most personal and sensitive work he has ever presented to his fans.
Jordan Benjamin, who started on the scene under the pseudonym grandson since 2014, released his debut album "Death Of An Optimist" in 2020. The musician regularly performs in North America and Europe and has millions of streams on music platforms, and his songs "Rain" and "Oh No!!!" have been featured in films such as "The Suicide Squad". In 2022, grandson presented the track "Kult" recorded together with Steve Aoki and Jasiah and warmed up the Americans on the Imagine Dragons tour in the USA and the singer Avril Lavigne in her arena concerts in Canada.
