The photographs in the exhibition ANSKA provide an overview of Juodvalkytė's creative practice in recent years, while at the same time creating a sensory world of memories, allowing the viewer to immerse themselves in a journey through her studio. As light travels across the surfaces of the prints, a conversation between different generations continues. Agnė Juodvalkytė is an artist who graduated in painting from the Vilnius Academy of Arts and currently lives and works in Berlin and Vilnius. Her work encompasses paintings, textiles and objects, which become a starting point for exploring the links between history, culture and identity. Her work has been exhibited in solo exhibitions at Galerie Bernau, Berlin (2022), Blake&Vargas (2021), Projektraum Bethanien (2019), Aesthetik01 (2017 and 2018); and Atelierhaus Salzamt, Linz, Austria (2015).
