"This is a dance that a couple has to do together and both parties have to be prepared for sudden twists. It is impossible to predict who will come out the winner in this relationship," says Antanas Obcarskas, the director of the performance.
ComedyThe Open Couple keeps the intrigue going right up to the last seconds of the performance. The spectacular finale is an even bigger surprise for the audience.
ComedyThe Open Couple is based on the famous Italian play Coppia aperta, quasi spalancata (written by Dario Fo, Franca Rame and Jacopo Fo). The play, which was first performed in Italy, was a huge success due to its bold and uncensored content.
The creators of the Lithuanian production of "The Open Couple" warn that the issues and situations discussed in this play may be shocking to the more sensitive audience, and may be difficult to understand for those under 16 years of age.
