Electric scooter hire is an urban appendicitis that promotes rushing and not walking. Often getting a negative reaction from people because of improper parking and unsafe driving. The green monster that robs many people of their common sense and causes disgust and disgust. A rented electric scooter is designed to serve a multinational company for a lifetime, taking people from A to B. However, it is up to the individual to decide when to give the scooter 'life' (activate it) and when to take it away (switch it off). What happens in between and after remains a mystery. Power-seeking, sexual abuse, hypnosis, speed, money, drunk drivers, illegal parking - these are the echoes of scooter life.
The street/object theatre performance Coffee & Scooters invites us to look at the everyday life of a secret community of rented electric scooters, as objects that have a right to exist in the city, struggling with people and other rented vehicles for an equal life in the city.
Scooters looking for a voice choose a young guy who has the potential to understand the problems of scooters, but needs to sober up first in order to take action. And so it goes, night after night, day after day...
