"Daddy Was A Milkman" will hold a concert in the amazingly beautiful Pažaislis Monastery. Performer Ignas Pociūnas, known as "Daddy Was A Milkman", is preparing for a magical concert with a string quartet. The multiple M.A.M.A. award winner will invite fans to the "Monte Pacis" complex in Pažaisli on June 15.

"Pazaislis Monastery - I couldn't think of a more suitable place for the first solo summer concert. We feel at home here, not only we, but also our listeners come back here year after year," says Ignas Pociūnas. "The concert in Pažaislis will be even more colorful this year, as we will be joined by the long-loved string quartet. We will definitely play new songs - I invite you from the bottom of my heart."
"Daddy Was A Milkman" debuted seven years ago and quickly won the hearts of music lovers and music critics alike. The best proof of this is sold-out concerts. Starting in 2016. with the launch concert of the debut album "Daydreaming" held in the summer and ending with the biggest performances of his career in Trakai Castle, as well as in the biggest arena in the country "Žalgiris". The newcomer to the scene was highly appreciated not only by music lovers - at the M.A.M.A. ceremony, "Daddy Was A Milkman" won the "Breakthrough of the Year" and "Electronics of the Year" awards.
2018 was particularly successful for the artist. He was nominated for a record number of M.A.M.A. awards. "Daddy Was A Milkman" claimed victory in as many as four nominations - "Artist of the Year", "Album of the Year", "Concert Artist of the Year" and "Pop Artist of the Year". During the ceremony, Ign Pociūnas was awarded the most important title - the M.A.M.A. commission elected him "Performer of the Year".
"Daddy Was A Milkman" is one of the few performers from our country who achieved success not only in Lithuania, but also abroad. In addition to the fact that the artist's songs are often broadcast by foreign radio stations, "Daddy Was A Milkman" is perhaps the only representative of our stage, who held sold-out concerts in Riga's Palladium club and Riga Arena.
Many organizers of major festivals in our region want to see the artist in their programs. "Daddy Was A Milkman" has already played several times at one of the biggest festivals in the Baltic States, "Positivus". The audience of the biggest Lithuanian music festival "Granatas Live" enjoyed his excellent performances.
Five years ago, Daddy Was A Milkman released a double studio album, Intimate Us. The work presented at concerts in Lithuania and Latvia became a great gift for music fans.
At the end of 2021, "Daddy Was A Milkman" released the first album of Lithuanian songs "Kai ruduo mokė mane", which he presented in two exclusive concerts at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre. These concerts are immortalized on the vinyl record "When Autumn Taught Me".
