Danas Andriulionis is distinctly distinguished by his authentic, unmistakable style of work. After discovering his own original painting technique, he was diligent in implementing all his creative ideas at home and in his workshop, and passing on his experience to his students. "Dan's work has always spoken of man's innate desire to understand and change the world through art. Anyone who visited his workshop could feel the powerful emotional charge emanating from his canvases," says his wife Dovilė Andriulionienė, who curates this exhibition. The exhibition is an invitation to viewers to become part of this inner journey, to discover new creative inspiration and, above all, to experience the true transformative power of art. The exhibition "Shining" presents various works by Andriulionis, including paintings that make sense of the most important moments in Lithuanian history. One of them is the canvas "EU Kindergarten MMIV-VIII", where the artist symbolically depicted Lithuania's accession to the European Union and NATO. Each painted flower represents an EU Member State. An unexpected and beautiful interpretation by the artist, revealing his sensitivity to European and security issues.
