Is this the only way to feel safe and distract from anxiety? Writer and director Nora Abdel-Maksoud explores the deep social need for security in Jeeps. Her work examines the structural conditions of society, which simultaneously reinforce and negate class differences. With great precision and to a satirical climax, Abdel-Maksoud dissects our thoughts and actions based on account balances, willpower readings and premonitions of impending threats. Nora Abdel-Maksoud was born in Munich and began studying acting in 2005 at the Konrad Wolf Film and Television Academy in Potsdam. She has been a freelance actress since 2009.
