FINK returns to Vilnius on 21 of July. In the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, together with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra conducted by Maestro Modestas Pitrėnas, they will perform some of the best works of all time. An exclusive international collaboration – for the first time and only in the Midsummer Festival!
In FINK’s hypnotic tracks, the magic of blues, rock, and folk is infused with electronic music. Even melancholy pulsates so that sadness becomes a dance and loss becomes liberation, euphoria. Loyal fans of FINK know that the live performances of Fin Greenall, an aesthete of sound production and lyrical thought, as well as studio recordings, stand out for their depth and quality.
Also, there are legends about this creator.
Rumor has it that Fin is developing a niche label focused on minimal techno in the mecca of rave, Berlin. And in London, he’s known as a hard-working producer who can be found at international studios such as Sony Music, Talkin’ Loud, and DefJam (he’s said to have worked on Amy Winehouse’s first demos). By the way, Fin is an internationally recognized (now ex) DJ who played his last set in 2003.
And all of this is true, but… His greatest magnum opus is FINK. “Nothing that I do or that I’ve done before is as important as the feeling I get from making songs like Fear is Like Fire and Perfect Darkness,” says Fin Greenall.
How will this sensitive, melodious, and intimate music of FINK sound in midsummer, performed in the heart of the city with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra? Don’t miss it – experience it with your ears.
