Giedrius Karaliūnas is a composer and pianist who often performs his own music in chamber spaces and small concert halls. His music is heard in the short film "Robotas ir peteliškė" (dir. Gailė Garnelytė), in TV documentaries and video projects. The author's work is close to the minimalist tradition, it is characterized by the repetition of short rhythmic motifs. Motifs based on repetition create a meditative and nostalgic mood, a state of "flow" where everything around seems to disappear, only consciousness and sounds remain. In the creative process, the author also pays a lot of attention to lyrical melodies, tries to maintain the dynamic structure of the work, pays a lot of attention to the aesthetics and naturalness of sound during music recording. His works express the longing for true, harmonious beauty. In addition to his solo work, this time Giedrius is preparing a surprise for the listeners."Somewhere I read these lines: In life, always be in love with someone. A person grows when he strives for something. I decided to finally realize my old dream - to create and perform live some compositions with a string trio. I can't wait to hear how everything will sound, I believe it will be beautiful, so I invite you to come and hear it!"Giedrius Karaliūnas - pianoIveta Janulytė - I violinKotryna Ugnė Daunytė - II violinDomantė Ramančiūnienė - cello
