Ozzy Osbourne and "Firewind" guitarist Gus G will hold even two concerts in Lithuania
The series of events "Gitaros legends" will introduce another star this fall. This time it will be the Greek electric guitar virtuoso Gus G. Despite his young age, he has already collaborated with Ozzy Osbourne, Firewind and many other artists. Gus G will present the latest solo album "Quantum Leap" with the group on the European tour, and will perform it in two concerts in Lithuania: on October 14 (Saturday) in Vilnius "Vakary" and October 15. (Sunday) in Kaunas "Oase".

Gus G's stage pseudonym was chosen by Kostas Karamitroudis, who was born in the 1980s and inherited a musical inclination from his father, who sang Greek folklore, but also felt a great sympathy for rock. Already at the age of ten, the boy asked his parents for his first guitar, the control technique of which he soon perfected in a way that was not at all childish. At the age of 18, he left Greece and began a successful career in the rock music scene.
Gus G is a really talented guitarist, who left a bright mark in the early career in the bands "Mystic Prophecy", "Nightrage", "Dream Evil" and the main band "Firewind". As a guest musician, he participated in the recording of many other famous bands' albums. Finally, this young and promising musician was noticed by the legendary Ozzy Osbourne, in whose team Gus G replaced the famous guitarist Zakk Wylde. They worked together from 2009 to 2017. and recorded in 2010 Ozzy's studio album Scream. Gus G has received praise for his guitar playing skills, compositional creative vein, shred style guitar playing, virtuoso use of electronics in his work, gained recognition for his powerful live sound and ability to combine elements of classic metal with modern musical trends.

After Ozzy and Gus G parted ways, the cornerstones of the latter's activity became the Greek heavy/power metal band Firewind, in which he is the only permanent member, and his own solo career. His latest creative work is precisely solo - it is 2021. the studio album "Quantum Leap" released during the pandemic, which the guitarist still presents on endless tours around the world.
