The solo performance of the actress of the Vilnius Old Theater Elena Bogdanovich "Joseph, Marina and Anna" tells the stories of the great Russian poets of the 20th century connected with Vilnius. According to the author of the performance, in Vilnius “it’s like in a fairy tale: if you turn right, you will find yourself in Tsvetaeva’s attic, if you turn left, you will see Akhmatova kneeling, if you go straight, you will meet Brodsky himself. And next to them are unknown people who were there at the right time and offered a helping hand, helped in word or deed: a forgotten teacher, a modest priest or a simple family that found and preserved the poet’s letters for us ... All of us - poets and ordinary people, living and dead, are united by spiritual thirst. That's what my show is about. And, of course, it will feature poems by three of my favorite poets – Joseph Brodsky, Marina Tsvetaeva and Anna Akhmatova.”
