The characters of the play - Town Hall and Fountain invite you to get acquainted with the mysterious Kaunas Mythical Beast that has been sleeping in the dungeons of the old town for hundreds of years. However, the Beast, it turns out, likes to play hide and seek and seeing him will not be very easy - you will need to smell, hear, track, see, touch and, if you are very lucky, catch him. Do you know what the favorite Kaunas Beast dish smells like? Maybe coffee, vanilla or powdered sugar? And what does the Beast sound like? Maybe it echoes, maybe shouts, maybe rattles, maybe howls? Does he have no traces? Or maybe you don't have feet at all? What does the Beast of Kaunas look like? Maybe it's a ghost, without a body at all?... Is it cold and hard, or maybe soft and light?... The mythical Beast of Kaunas is looking forward to meeting the audience smiley
In the experiential production, created on the principle of object theater, in a visual and playful way, with the help of the main senses - sight, hearing, smell and touch, you travel in search of the Mythical Beast of Kaunas. Actors in this play are the initiators of interactivity. Their goal is to involve young viewers in the performance, to arouse their curiosity, imagination and creativity.
"Knowledge is the greatest enemy of imagination. As with faith. But a game without imagination is not interesting. I believe that the Beast lives in Kaunas. I live an interesting life." (dir. A. Žurauskas)
