The "24 per second" youth camp invites you to continue and deepen your knowledge of the filmmaking process. Inspired by the personality and work of Jurgis Kunčinas, a poet, essayist, translator and one of the most famous Lithuanian novelists, who hails from Alytus, the organisers of the workshop and Lithuanian film professionals have invited participants to take a look at Kunčinas's writings through the lens of a film camera. During the workshop, young people will create screen adaptations of two of Jurgis Kunčinas' novels and documentary material about the behind-the-scenes of their creation. Scanorama is organising the film camp together with the Dainava Cinema, Alytus City Theatre and the Alytus Jurgis Kunčinas Public Library. We invite you to watch the premieres of the short films created by the participants of the camp. The event is free of charge. The project "Kinas veža" and "Scanorama Summer" are partly funded by the Lithuanian Film Centre.
