Our nation, which has spent centuries building its independence, has left behind a number of interesting, sensitive and sincere songs that resound with love and pride, pain and peace, hope and joy. Together, we will journey through songs from different periods and themes, which encode love for Lithuania. We invite everyone who is not indifferent to folk song to spend the evening of 16 February in a meaningful way - by getting acquainted with songs that go back centuries and were composed only 70-80 years ago, by hearing and learning the songs of different ethnographic regions of Lithuania, by listening to the subtle expression of love for the Motherland or the strong and open oaths that ring out from the bottom of the heart.

During the event, we will sing, learn and even listen a little to the voices from the archives. The programme of songs, tea and biscuits is our concern, so just drop by and enjoy the fellowship and build up a repertoire for our freedom celebrations in the future.

The singing will be led by ethnomusicologist and double mother Vera Venckūnaitė. 

Price of the event - 7 Eur. The number of participants is limited.
The event is designed for participants and families of all ages. Children under 8 years of age do not need a ticket.
The purchased event ticket is non-refundable and non-exchangeable, unless the event is cancelled or postponed due to the organizer's fault.

The event takes place in the premises of "Etnoerdvi" at Raitininkų str. 2-3 (entrance from the courtyard side, through the door hidden behind the green shrubs and the bushes).

Photographs and/or videos may be taken during the event, and the captured material will be made available for public. By attending the event, you agree to be seen in photographs and videos of the event and are informed that these photographs and videos may be made public.
