Linas Adomaitis and the NIKO orchestra will hold a grandiose concert "Waters" in Palanga
The singer and music producer Linas Adomaitis, who recently held impressive concerts in the major arenas of the country, has great news for the seaside audience: on July 14, he will hold the only magical concert "Waters" in the Palanga Concert Hall together with the New Ideas Chamber Orchestra (NIKO).
A few months ago, the author of numerous hits held elegant musical shows in Kaunas and Klaipėda, "Shine in the Darkness", which were the artist's first arena performances after a break of almost three years.
"I've had hundreds of the most amazing concerts in my music career, but I'll never forget the arena shows last December. I felt uplifted because the concerts were dedicated to my son and the main message was light and hope. I was very happy because I finally returned to the stage together with the greatest music professionals - the choirs led by Danguolė Beinarytė and the NIKO orchestra with maestro Gedimin Gelgot. It's a wonderful feeling when everything turns out the way you imagine", Linas Adomaitis remembers.
However, it seems that Lin's mesmerizing music was not enough for listeners. The musician admits that after the concerts in December, he very often receives a question on social networks about whether there will be more performances together with the New Ideas chamber orchestra NIKO in the future.
"We sat down with Gediminas Gelgot and the organizers of the concert tour, and all of our reactions to such a question from fans were the same: an enthusiastic "yes!". We have already started preparations for this grandiose show. We are preparing it especially for the seaside audience and we carefully arrange the repertoire. So I can happily say that we will meet in Palanga in July, where we will immerse ourselves in the famous "Waters" of music, says the musician.
Founded in 2006 by composer Gediminas Gelgot, the string instrument ensemble combines classical and popular music styles in its performances and integrates other art forms, such as minimalist choreography, visualizations and design, thus creating a unique performance concept. When all this is combined with the creativity, voice, professionalism and many years of concert experience of Linas Adomaitis, the Palanga concert hall will be flooded with a real famous "Water", which the audience will be able to enjoy this year only on July 14.
Linas Adomaitis' songs are full of truth and raw emotion. This is also evidenced by Lin's most prominent hit "Oceans", which the musician dedicated to his daughter Saula. During this song, at the final concert of the tour in December, Lin's first-born herself ran to the stage with great enthusiasm into her father's arms and sang to the crowd of thousands. Then the audience listened with bated breath, and many even shed a tear.
"These are unforgettable moments. I didn't even know my daughter knew the words to this song, and her courage to sing in front of such a large audience surprised not only the audience, but myself as well. Who knows, maybe we'll perform this song of the Sun as a duet at the Palanga concert?", the performer smiles.
Linas also remembers and is very happy about the visit of His Excellency President Gitan Nausėda and First Lady Diana Nausėdienė to the final concert of the "Light Shines in the Dark" tour.
"Such special guests as the president of our country with his family at my concert are more than a compliment, more than an appreciation. It's certainly not every day that the first couple of the country visits your concert. But the most fun is seeing the crowd of thousands. I am grateful to each person personally for the connection that can be created during the concert. That connection is the most significant part of the show for me," says Linas.
During the performance, the well-known hits of Linas Adomaitis will be played, such as "Vandenynai", "Lips like cherries", "Your colors", "Laukos vidury", "Saules ftomimos", "Have you seen her?", "Zhalioj tyloj", "I envy myself" and many others. Linas is already opening the veil of mystery - the audience is waiting for both unheard works and special surprises, which the listeners will find out about only during the concert.
The only concert "Waters" by Linas Adomaitis and the New Ideas Chamber Orchestra NIKO will take place on July 14 in the Palanga Concert Hall. Tickets are distributed by Bilietai.lt
