"Lullaby for the Earth" is an interactive musical movement performance for children aged 3 and up. The performance shows the problem of pollution of the Earth, its causes and consequences: littering, air pollution, animal extinction, global warming, torrential rains, etc., in a language children can understand. How can we help the Earth? The creators of the play propose a symbolic act of soothing the earth, of comforting it. To express this, lullabies in the original languages of different countries of the world have been chosen. The performance does not have a coherent plot or a story told in words, there are no specific characters. There is also no moralising! "Lullaby for the Earth is an inclusive performance where the actors communicate directly with the children not through a ramp, but by inviting them into the performance space, offering a different action-play in each scene.
The project is funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania.
