When we want to look at works of art, we usually go to galleries or museums. But it also happens that art comes to us on its own - catching up with us on the street, in the courtyards of our homes or former factories, making us pause while climbing the stairs or even missing a green light at a crosswalk. It's true that you may have passed by a hundred times and not noticed the works of the country's or even the world's most famous artists. Or maybe you just didn't recognise them, blending in with the hustle and bustle of the city? Vilnius is full of sculptures, installations, street art and drawings by contemporary artists. Sometimes they meet in a group to create public art spaces in the city, and sometimes they wait for our attention alone, but all of them want to be spoken to, heard, invited to think, to discuss, to admire, to be annoyed, to think, to discuss, to admire, to be annoyed, to be annoyed. Snowmen, a quarter of the US Statue of Liberty, two men - one imprisoned by a dictator, the other free to gaze at the horizon, a scientist who revealed the law of relativity to the world, and even the "Beatle" J.Lennon - all in Vilnius!
