Works by F. Mendelssohn, P. Schoenfield, Lithuanian composers.
As autumn approaches, the piano trio Meta invites you to a musical afternoon where listeners will immerse themselves in chamber music masterpieces created in different periods. One of them is Felix Mendelssohn's piano trio No. 1, which is still considered one of the greatest works of this genre. Here, each instrument reveals itself in the brightest colors and timbres, which convey to the listener the ideals of the Romantic era, the perception of the world. Considered a luminary, this piano trio contrasts with American composer Paul Schoenfield's "Cafe Music", which has a strong jazz and swing influence from the very first chords. According to the composer, the piece was written to be performed both in jazz bars and in the biggest concert halls. Colors and new atmospheres will be added to the concert program by the works of Lithuanian composers, which will allow the listener to return to his identity and musical language.
