"Hershkovits dances the keys with the elegance of Fred Astaire and the melancholy wit of Charlie Chaplin," Cem Akalin, General Anzeiger Bonn
Pianist and composer Nitai Hershkovits was called "a real prodigy" by the BBC. The charismatic performer has an extremely strong voice and a distinct musical vision. Nitai, unlike most other artists, first studied jazz and later switched to classical. Such a unique combination adds a charming eclecticism to his performance style.
Nita was born into a Moroccan and Polish family. At the age of 12, he started playing the clarinet and soon he was performing on the professional stage. At the age of fifteen, he discovered his love for the piano and immersed himself in the world of improvisation. Later, the artist became interested in composition and began composing for various artists from the Israel Conservatory. Finally, he started studying classical music, he got his knowledge from the famous Israeli composer and teacher Dr. Menahem Weisenberg and classical piano teacher Amir Pedorovits.
