Borim Kang, South Korean pianist, winner of the Grand Prix of the International Competition "Premio Scarlatti 2024", will be back in Vilnius. The graduate of Seoul National University has prepared a colourful and virtuoso programme for the audience of Trakai Voke Manor, which will enchant the audience with the subtleties of piano playing and enrich the festive season of every music lover.
About
Borim Kang is a rising piano star, a virtuoso pianist from South Korea, a graduate of Seoul National University College of Music. Known for her exceptional talent and dedication to classical music, Borim has earned recognition through various performances and competitions on both national and international stages.
Her musical journey began as a child and has been further nurtured at prestigious institutions such as Gyeonggi Arts High School and the talent development program of the Chungbuk Arts High School branch. She is currently expanding her musical horizons through an exchange programme at the Vytautas Magnus University Academy of Music in Lithuania, where she is further developing her knowledge and skills.
Attiki's career has been marked by notable accomplishments, including her 2023 tour with the Interstellar Orchestra, where she performed Mozart's Piano Concerto No.27 under the baton of the acclaimed conductor H.J. Lim. In November 2023, she was selected as an Emerging Young Artist for the Amuse Sound 442 Solo Recital, where she demonstrated her technical mastery and emotional musicality.
Her excellence in music competitions has won her several prestigious awards, including the Grand Prix at the 7th Premio Scarlatti International Competition, first prizes at the 32nd Segye Ilbo and the 45th Haneum Music Competitions.
