Professionals unite in the name of a bright and safe future for Lithuanian children. Music born in small hearts nurtures talents, and it is the duty of professionals to notice and encourage them. In commemoration of International Children's Day, Panevėžys Musical Theater, in cooperation with Panevėžys Music School and Panevėžys Vytautas Mikalauskas Gymnasium of Arts, organizes the festival "For Music and Childhood", where professional musicians will become mentors of young talents.
This year the city is celebrating its 520th anniversary, so one of the goals of the festival is to present famous artists from Panevėžys to the public. May 26 In the opening concert of the festival, former residents of Panevėžys Indrė Kuleševičienė (horn), Dovydas Levickis (cello) and Neringa Valuntonytė (piano) will perform. For this concert, the orchestra of the Panevėžys Musical Theater with conductor Martyn Braž is preparing a special program, which, when performed together with the mentioned guests and young talents, will make sense of the main goal of the festival - by sharing experience with budding musicians to promote their professional growth.
