The Panevėžys Puppet Carriage Theater invites young viewers to its new premiere - "Fairy Tale Tree". The creative troupe of the theater, together with the professional Ukrainian director Marina Bogomas and artist Olga Filončiuk, who has staged several performances in the Panevėžys Doll Carriage Theater, created a piece based on Lithuanian folk tales. The show is special not only for its values, but also for the wonderful straw dolls that come to life as soon as you look at them, and with each of their movements a fairy tale begins.
Well, this performance is about..... Once upon a time there lived a man and a woman. And they had as many fairy tales as trees have leaves, as many stars in the sky.... All those fairy tales were different: happy and sad, pleasant and scary, simple and magical.... And all those tales told the story of our dear land. Of the land we love so much!
The play "Fairy Tale Tree" inspires children and parents to immerse themselves in the wonderful world of Lithuanian folklore. It is a performance where everyone can feel connected to the heritage and inspiring stories that allow us to look at our native land in different colors!
