Gabrielė Bukinė studied and obtained a master's degree at the Music Academy of Vytautas the Great University
(class of Prof. Sabina Martinaitytė), interned at the Polish Grand Opera Theater (Warsaw, 2018–2019), currently interning at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre. The performer studied with famous singing professors such as Genadij Kabka (Ukraine), Makal Bogdan (Poland), Wolfgang Niesser (Austria), Josef Wallnig (Austria), Andreas Macco (Austria), Vladimir Prudnikova (Lithuania), Francesco Bottigliero (Italy), Michael Woodwood (UK), Tomasz Konieczny (Poland), Carmen Santoro (Italy), John Fisher (USA) in master classes.
in 2020 the soloist made her debut at the Kaunas State Musical Theatre. Her debut roles are Violeta (G. Verdi's "La Traviata") and Fiorilla (G. Rossini's "Il Turco in Italia"), for which she was nominated for the Golden Cross of the Stage and awarded the Statue of Fortune. in 2021 was included in the "Kauniette of the Year" election and became one of the 6 finalists. in 2023 the artist was awarded the Kaunas City Culture Award.
In more than ten years of creative activity, the Kaunas Piano Trio has presented the audience with more than 200 inspired, creative and engaging concerts, has become an active participant in the cultural life of the city of Kaunas and the region, and has won the sympathy and recognition of the audience for its activities. In 2014, the ensemble was awarded with a letter of thanks from Dalia Grybauskaitė, the President of the Republic of Lithuania.
In the international competition "Music without borders" the trio won the 1st place in the category of chamber ensembles (2013), the Grand Prix in the international competition of music pedagogues (Warsaw, 2014), participated in the festivals "Einam 2012", "Iš arti", "Singing country music festival", " Tytuvėnai Festival", "Pažaislis Music Festival", "Kristupos Summer Festival", "Lithuanian Chamber Music Festival". in 2014 the trio debuted with the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra in 2018. performed the premiere of Jon Appleton's Concerto Grosso in Lithuania together with VDU chamber orchestra conducted by K. Variakojo. The ensemble performed many chamber programs with various soloists, created interdisciplinary and educational projects in collaboration with contemporary composers ("Funny and Sad Stories", "Divine Sounding Ark" and many others), performed in Latvia, Sweden, Norway, Estonia and the Netherlands.
