Each LNOBT Open festival has its own special night. This year, it is the premiere of the festival - a theatrical production of Joseph Haydn's oratorio The Creation of the World, prepared by an international team assembled by the director Fabio Ceresa, who is already familiar to our audience from the latest production of La Traviata. The oratorio will be conducted by Valentinas Egel, a young German conductor, from 2021. Since January, he has been working as the artistic director of the Croatian National Theater and the Rijeka Symphony Orchestra. Along with young Lithuanian soloists Monika Pleškyte, Raimundus Juzuičius, Joris Rubinov, tenor Ruairi Bowen, an excellent interpreter of baroque music from Great Britain, will sing in this production. So Creation of the World promises to be a performance full of young energy!
