This is the story of a soldier's girlfriend, granddaughter and teacher. The stories of three specific women, along with hundreds of thousands of women like them. In a sense, this is the story of every Ukrainian woman. "We want to tell people about the ongoing war, to remind them about it again. We want to capture and document the reality of people living displaced lives in this particular time and place. We want to show a portrait of a displaced person and what lies behind it. We want to find the deep archetypes behind these personal stories, exploring themes like love, death, connection to home, survivor's guilt."
