Live concert - "Po gežės dangum" dedicated to celebrating the upcoming Mother's Day

A cozy and romantic evening to celebrate the upcoming mother's day. The concert will feature the delicate and velvety timbre of Tomas Čiukauskas' saxophone and the virtuoso passages of pianist A. Polevikov. The duo will perform original compositions, will interpret popular and jazz music pieces in their own way. No microphones, only live and real acoustic sound, in the wonderful Palanga Kurhaus hall, will involve the listeners in a lively, unpredictable musical conversation, improvisation, full of energy and surprises.
Andrej Polevikov - Lithuanian jazz pianist, composer and pedagogue. Having performed with singer A. Bocelli, Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra (2008). He plays with various groups and projects at jazz festivals in Lithuania and abroad. Currently, the collective assembled by A. Polevikov performs with the ethno jazz program - "Folktales". In April, the pianist plans to release a CD of the same name.
Concert saxophonist Tomas Čiukauskas is distinguished by various musical and organizational activities. Since 2007 after receiving a bachelor's degree from LMTA, he started organizing international jazz music evenings - "Druskininkai Jazz". These concerts became an officially created annual space for jazz music in the city of Druskininkai. Musicians not only from Lithuania, but also from Bulgaria, Great Britain, Sweden, Italy, Iceland and Latvia have already participated in the concerts. Currently, the active saxophonist is recording his second self-titled album, which he plans to release at the end of this year.
