The play is based on the short stories "Palikimas", "Ponia Janina Sudocholskienė" and "Prabangos" by the Lithuanian literary writer Jurgis Savickis from the second collection of short stories "On the High Throne" (1928).
One of the leitmotifs of the play is the luxury of experiencing: living, dying, loving. The characters of the tragicomedy are three ghosts who tell J. Savicki's short stories as their own life stories.

The specificity of "book theater" is that the actor is very close to the audience, so great attention is paid to costumes, accessories and make-up. Perfumes made according to ancient recipes are used to create the characters.
The main goal of the "Book Theater" is to popularize Lithuanian literature and encourage its reading, and the distinguishing feature of the performances is an effort to return to the origins of theater, which are the text and the word, so the impression is created on the viewer as if he had read a book.
