Rokas Kašėta is a musician from the Varėna region, the originator of the dzūkodelica subgenre, who creates songs in dzūka dialect.
The roots of Dartė's warm Dzūkijon near Łola and the small village are getting deeper and deeper. But it also gets a lot, mainly because of the fact that the concerto in the divisive country keeps getting hurt. Sometimes, one goes and plays solo, and sometimes - with a group! Wow, Kaunu has split - Rokas is not the only one to come back and start fun parties!
The enigma and aspiration of rock is that these beautiful words and modern forms of musical expression are heard less and less even in the heart of Dzūkija in the medium of Nuciec Cylts. The dialectal singing of rock artists, inspired by Dzuk folk songs, local culture and nature, takes on new forms, modern ways of artistic expression. Dzūkodelikon spins sung poetry, it seems, rap, dzūki pol'kl'or, bossanova and other genres. And we get such a vinaigrette or, in other words, a country music.
