Two exceptionally talented musicians are coming to Gelgaudiškis manor. Pianist Darius Mažintas is one of the most talented and best pianists of today's Lithuania, an initiator of cultural and educational projects, who performs in war-torn Ukraine and has organized a number of charity events. Violinist Martynas Švėgžda von Bekker since 1990. performs solo in Europe, the USA and Asia and is accompanied by the following orchestras: Berlin Symphony, Sakartvel Symphony, Lithuanian State Symphony, Lithuanian Philharmonic Symphony, Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, Hamburg Symphony, Indonesian "Gloriamus" Philharmonic, etc. in 1997 in Paris and in 2009 In Boston (USA), the musician was awarded the title of honorary cultural attaché of the Republic of Lithuania. Since 2016 he is an associate professor at the Johannes Brahms Conservatory in Hamburg. The concert will feature works for violin and piano by A. Dvořák, C. Frank and selected piano nocturnes by F. Chopin.
