Or maybe you want to decorate your Christmas tree this year with cosy, Lithuanian beauties that are pleasing to the eye and heart? You'll still have time to come to the Straw Tree Decorations Workshop for both young and old!

We invite you to learn how to make a straw garland, a star, a ratchet...
The workshop will be led by Dalia Mockevičienė, ethnomusicologist and tradition promoter. Dalia, who has picked up various old crafts from her grandparents and learned them on her own, teaches them to others. She creates straw gardens, ornaments, straw for the Christmas tree, weaves ribbons, cross-stitches, embroiders Easter eggs with wax and herbs, and knits verbs typical of the Vilnius region. Dalia teaches not only in Lithuania, but also abroad, thus infecting participants in various countries with good mood and love for straw products.

On 14 December, there will be two workshops on making straw Christmas tree decorations. Choose the time that suits you best:

Cost of the workshop is 15 EUR. The price includes all necessary tools. Number of participants is limited.  

The activity is suitable for participants of all ages and families. A ticket must be purchased for each participant who will be making individual items (no additional ticket is required for children who will be working with their parents).
The purchased event ticket is non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless the event is cancelled or postponed due to the fault of the organiser.

The event takes place in the premises of "Etnoerdvi" in Raitininkų str. 2-3 (entrance from the courtyard side through the door hidden behind green bushes and bushes).

Photographs and/or video may be taken during the event and the recorded material may be published. By attending the event, you agree to be seen in photographs and videos of the event and are informed that these photographs and videos may be made public.
