The series of lectures "Traditional Women's Clothing of the Second Half of the 19th Century to the Middle of the 20th Century in Šiliai Dzūkija" aims to provide a coherent and comprehensive look at traditional clothing, which is the basis of the formation of the national costume, and to get a feel for the distinctive stylistics of the area and their interpretations, as well as to find the answers to the questions of interest.

The lectures will be given by Tomas Antropikas, a member of the Vilnius Region Folk Art Creators Community of the Lithuanian Folk Artists' Union, a student of the Faculty of History at Vilnius University. "Traditional textiles have been a part of my life since I was a little girl, and I am currently engaged in researching and reconstructing them, and I am conducting theoretical and practical workshops, where I will be able to share the discoveries I make and the experiences I have gained".

The event takes place in the premises of "Etnoerdvi" in Raitininkų str. 2-3 (entrance from the courtyard side through the door hidden behind green bushes and bushes).
