This is a performance whose original idea was the theme of gender identity and femininity.
His dramaturgy was not created based on the play, but material created and discovered during rehearsals.
This is a performance born from open conversations about femininity, the theme of which the creative team has expanded over time to the question, how much do we are influenced and shaped by gender identity?
Are femininity and masculinity a social construct or a law of nature? What if we go beyond the universally understood norm of femininity?
Where does gender end? Is it possible to be both a man and a woman at the same time?
The social environment, media and societal norms make it easier for us to explain what a man and a woman are, but doesn't the binary gender system limit our thinking? What happens to a person if his inside does not match his outside? Is it difficult to accept yourself as you really are, if you are not always accepted by society?
"Opening up doesn't happen just once in a person's life. It's a daily journey in which each of us must go to ourselves in order to be able to endure the next day." The producers of the play are OKT/Vilnius City Theatre, Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater.
