"Duo Unicum" is a duet of concert flutes and Celtic harp. Unique and the first of its kind in the world! These instruments of different origin, but similar in construction and playing technique, were united by childhood friends, today already professional and well-known performers Giedrė Šiaulytė-Ulfig and Ingrida Spalinskaitė-Kurienė. Both of them are graduates of Klaipėda S. Šimkaus Conservatory. The duo has already released a CD called "Impressio" and a music video. The summer concert cycle begins with their program, which the duo will perform on this year's concert tour in Lithuania and Germany. Arrangements of songs and dance melodies of Lithuanian and Celtic peoples, works of Lithuanian and English composers will be harmoniously interwoven in it.
