Evening V or People, Crocodiles, Hare - a concert, poetic performance for children
Actors Balys Ivanauskas and Artūras Dubaka, using children's poems by Lithuanian writers Marius Marcinkevičius and Sigitas Geda, have created a concert - a performance, full of fun songs, games and interesting stories.
Theatre critic Sigita Ivaškaitė writes about the performance:
"Unexpectedly...> surprised by the poetic performance-concert for children "Evening V" by "Teatro P". Not being an enthusiast of poetry performances, I was pleasantly surprised by the sincerity of the performers on the stage, their professionalism in fulfilling the musical tasks and the bribing simplicity that comes through both in the adequate communication with the children and in the deliberate use of the imagination as a stage setting. Somewhere between quick and seemingly simple solutions, Balys Ivanauskas and Artūras Dubaka discover the communion between theatrical illusion and the poetic text, which sometimes hides behind a single word or a wave of the hand a multitude of variations that we create."
